Pangolin Rescued from tormentors

A pangolin has been rescued from the hands of wildlife tormentors. Two people were arrested in Elegu Ugandan border to South Sudan for possession of a live wild animal, a pangolin. Lt. Chol Malou Mayen John, a 42yr old migration officer attached to Nimule in South Sudan and 1stLt Arop Ochan Denis Lotyang, 38yrs were caught attempting to sell the pangolin at Ugx15m. They were found with bundles of money and other official documents.
By press time, the pangolin had been handed over to UWA officials as required by the law. They will be charged for possession of a wild animal at the Buganda road court. The arrest was however not smooth as Sudanese officials flooded the area in attempt to rescue their citizens from Uganda police.
